Beautiful hope-'When dreams fade'

As a child, I had unending wishes,
I wished, I met a genie, who made all my dreams come true, no matter how small or wide

I wished, I snapped reality with my fingers, in a matter of seconds
I wished all the boxes ticked right, no matter the cost
I wished, I finished every assignment, even if I dragged all the way

As I grew older, I started feeling disappointed in a few dreams that eloped completion
And the many wrongs running down the memory lane
And the other boxes that never ticked right

I sought for wisdom
With the little,
I now know that
It is a fresh beginning,
A world made new, where all failures are past and over,
Friendships lost closed in the diaries,
All the wish and to-do list done
Tears shed dried,
All bleeding wounds healed by the night.

Part of yesterday might have been an error
And some of tomorrow would include failures
Part of the millennium might carry sad days and windy nights
There is hope that when I fall, I will rise seven times.
There is assurance of stillness, where joy is complete and love is unending.
Yesterday is now part of the histories
Tomorrow is my future

This is my beautiful hope this morning.
This is the reason why I want to wake up again
